Privacy Notice

Miami Valley Xpress (“MVX”, “we”) is a volunteer-run youth fastpitch softball organization in the Miami Valley, Ohio. This notice explains what information appears on this website, what we collect when you contact us, and how to ask us to change or remove something.

Players and families

Team pages show each player's name, jersey number, position, graduation year and bats/throws, along with team and individual photos. We publish this with the permission families give in the Parent/Player Handbook each season.

For our high-school-age teams we may also list a player's high school, hometown and a social media handle, because college coaches use this site to learn about our athletes. We do not publish this information for our younger teams.

We never publish birthdates, home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses or academic records of any player.

A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to update a listing, remove a photo, or remove a player from the site entirely. Email mvxpresssoftballorg@gmail.com with the player's name and team, and we will take care of it promptly. No explanation is needed.

Contacting us

When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, phone number (if you include it) and message you type. It is delivered to the MVX board by email through a form service run by our website provider, and we use it only to reply to you. We do not sell or share it, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Our coaching, sponsorship and scholarship applications are hosted on Google Forms. Information you submit there is stored in our Google account and reviewed by the MVX board. Google's own privacy policy applies to how Google handles that data.

Cookies and third-party content

This site does not set tracking cookies of its own and does not run advertising. Some pages embed content from other companies, and those companies may set their own cookies or collect usage data under their own privacy policies when the embed loads:

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for parents, guardians, coaches and college recruiters. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.
